Dryer blues
Our dryer has a beeper that goes off when it is done, a slightly trilling beep, which it repeats over and over for about one minute. This is a very long time, especially after just finishing folding two loads of laundry and getting up to get a glass of water, and closing your eyes and trying to ignore the sound until it goes away.

We had that problem during my internship. The cheapo drier would go off until you unloaded it. So we just took out the buzzer. I think you can access it from the back...

why don't you just take the clothes out?
Because I had just finished folding two loads already, and I didn't want to fold another load.
