The Mall and other horror stories

I recently went to the mall to do some last minute Christmas shopping and I was appalled. Apparently, in Bellevue Square, they don't believe in literacy anymore since the last and only bookstore in the entire commercial temple has been taken away from me, as well as their music store Sam Goody. Now, the entire place is overrun with clothes, cosmetics and other vain things, with a novelty shop here or there.

Luckily, I did find one good shop before consigning it to commerce outer darkness. Teavana is a store entirely devoted to loose leaf teas. After recently cutting most video games and so forth out of my diet, I have found the need for a new hobby. Cooking and loose leaf tea drinking will fill in the gap most nicely.

Had it not been for Teavana, I would have abandoned Bellevue Square as a lost cause, ripe for destruction. Now, it has become a must visit site on my list for when Dantzel comes over this weekend. Unless Teavana leaves. Then I will mourn and turn my back on Bellevue Square forever.
