A semi-complete report of the things I recieved for Christmas this year:
Perhaps the Christmas present I am most excited about is this bag here, filled with a mystery item. I have yet to reveal it since it was a Christmas gift given to both me and Dantzel by my parents (they now refer to us as a single unit rather than seperate parts). Wanting Dantzel to wonder agonizingly what could be in the bag for us until she arrives in Seattle on the 28th, I will not reveal its contents until a later time. However, I will refer you to the two bags of loose leaf tea my sister purchased for me at Pike Place Market, in a little store called MarketSpice. They are cranberry mint and very berry roobios tea leaves, my first bags of loose leaf tea ever. They smell wonderfully delicious and pungent, and we shall break open the bags as soon as Dantzel flies in so that we can enjoy a nice cup of tea together.
My mother was a bit frustrated that the only things on my Christmas list seemed to be household items. Eventually, she relented in buying me and Dantzel something from Teavana, which I absolutely adore and am positive will knock Dantzel's socks off, but in a very disgruntled manner, mentioning that this is the first time she's ever had a male adamantly demand a Christmas present that are commonly associated with domestic chores (my other choices were cooking untensils or a bread maker).
I also received The Audacity of Hope by Barack Obama from my brother. I have begun reading it and enjoy it quite a bit. He's a very talented writer, and his ideas and theories on politics are refreshing and interesting to ponder. Definitely biased towards the Democratic party, but he is a Democrat so I suppose he's allowed to make that bias. However, he often points out failures within his party itself and advocates a middle road philosophy which should resonate with anyone who isn't too hardcore on either side. Highly recommended.
I received a cookbook from my cousin Ashley which details how to make an octopus out of a hot dog (it's really quite impressive).
And lastly, from my cousin Kacie, I received a wonderfully knit scarf. This was originally supposed to be a birthday present, but took longer than she anticipated. And no wonder, as it is absolutely beautiful! Knitted in Ravenclaw colors, I will most definitely be sporting this scarf around town in Provo for many years to come. And hopefully I won't be in Provo for the majority of those many years in the future to come.
Seriously, it is a very nice scarf. I do say, it looks rather nice on me.
Afterwards, we went to Denny's as a family and enjoyed each other's company. Note the other knitted items Kacie made, such as the stylish brown hat on my sister's head, complete with pointy animal ears.
And lastly, because I miss her so much that it feels like I'm going to pass out from frustration from not being able to hold her, a picture of Dantzel sleeping from long ago. No particular story attached to it; just a cute, sleeping girl on my couch back at my apartment.
Future updates on the list of booty, as it appears I have not received all of my Christmas booty yet.

Looks like a good haul this year. Glad it's been good. You're probably hanging out with Dantzel as we speak so I probably won't hear from you again until vacation's over. See you after New Years!
