There's a first time for anything

We went crawfish hunting out in the Strawberry Resevoir somewhere in the Utah mountains. As we began the preperations, Dantzel's friend (who is also Korean) began putting on sunblock.

"You're putting sunblock on?" I scoff. "But you're Asian!"

I then came home nursing a healthy burn on my right side of the neck and arm, and some one the face as well. It is an odd sensation, since this is the first time in the history of Ted's existence of 22 years that this has ever happened. It is like beating your dad at something for the first time and realizing that he really isn't invincible, but is very much human. Except it was me losing the invincibility. So I guess that simile didn't really work at all.

To all you white people out there that burn all the time - I have always pitied you, and now I can have empathy for you. But rest assured, this will be the last time I ever will burn.

Famous last words.
